Milligan went on to set the tone against the Cavs as they won five out of six in singles.
Jones won 6-2, 6-3 over Kraak, as his doubles partner Reynolds prevailed 6-0, 6-1 over Bauman. Adam Campbell succeeded in his match 6-2, 6-1 against Riser, while fellow teammate Dyer also found a win against Carter, 6-2, 6-1.
Mitchell stepped up after losing his first set 6-4 to Sam Ivey. Mitchell came back aggressively, winning his next two sets 6-0, 6-2, finishing with a win.
"Pat had an excellent come-from-behind victory in singles. After losing a first close set, he fought back and controlled the match the rest of the way," Aubrey commented after the match. "This was a good win for us. We have been playing better tennis in the last couple of weeks. Today, we were able to play well and get a win."
Along with the women's tennis team, the Buffs will next challenge Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday, April 3, at Liberty Bell in Johnson City. Match time is set for 11 a.m.
