Twins dismiss Cash Express

   With Lance Reed serving as the catalyst, the Twins defeated Cash Express 7-0 in an Elizabethton National Little League game on Friday night.
   Throwing a one-hitter while striking out 12 batters, Reed also flourished at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a pair of triples.
   The Twins tallied six of their runs in the first inning, then coasted to the victory.
   Ben McKinney contributed a 1-for-2 effort for the Twins, who received 1-for-3 games from Zack Montgomery and Craig Sheets.
   Michael Hutchins had the lone hit for Express.

   Derek Mann homered and tripled for Carter County Bank, which put the game completely out of reach with six runs in the fifth inning.
   Isiah Osborne accounted for an inside-the-park homer and Justin Fuqua threw a runner out at home from center field in the Banker win.
   Chase Depew, who pitched his way to victory, and Mann each went 2-for-2 at the plate for Carter County. Osborne and Fuqua both went 2-for-4, and Matt Potter batted 1-for-2.
   Casey Crapps and Matt Febuary, at 2-for-2 apiece, were tops for Burgie. Zack Miller followed with a 1-for-2 outing.
