Buffs finish second in conference

   BARBOURVILLE, Kent. -- Nathan Chandler singled in Dustin Price with two outs in the top of the 10th inning to propel Milligan to 4-3 victory in game one of an AAC doubleheader on Saturday.
   Union came back in game two with a shutout by Jeff Henderson to blank the Buffs 4-0.
   Milligan finished the regular season 28-18 and 16-8 in the AAC, good enough for second place and a berth in the regional tournament in Louisville (Kent.) in two weeks.
   Milligan will open the conference tournament on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. at Cardinal Park. The Buffs will play the seventh seed.
   Aaron Wallus tossed the final three innings to pick up the win for the Buffs. He allowed one hit and struck out two batters while improving to 2-1 on the season.
   Jacob McAllister pitched the first seven innings giving up three runs on five hits.
   Nathan Chandler finished the game going 2 for 5 with the game-winning RBI.
   Greg Bruce (2-4) came in the game in the tenth to take the loss for the Bulldogs.
   Jeff Henderson tossed a complete game shutout to improve to 6-0 on the season. He allowed only five hits.
   Milligan out hit Union 5-4 in game two but couldn't score against Henderson.
   Ryan Dunn had two hits for the Buffs.
   Chris Shockley (0-5) worked the first three innings for the loss.
