TAD whips Vance, 14-3

KINGSPORT--The T.A. Dugger Junior Cyclones opened
their conference tournament Wednesday ready to roll.
They did just that, toppling the Vance Middle
Vikings 14-3 at Hunter Wright Stadium.
"Obviously we played a great game," said T.A.
Dugger coach Jason Carter. "It was a great win for us. We
hit the ball well and fielded it well. It was a total team
effort and a great all around performance from the guys."
Josh Guinn picked up the victory on the mound
for T.A. Dugger, who also had a combned 12 hits in the outing.
Guinn, Cory Hilton, Wes Issacs, Drew Hyder and Andrew Kennedy
all tallied two hits a piece in the outing.
Preson Smith and Travis Bishop added a hit a
piece for the team who will meet up against John Sevier Middle
on Friday in Kingsport.
