David's Auto, C-H prevail

Alex Chambers won from the mound and batted 1-for-3
on Monday night, helping David's Auto Sales carve out a tough
4-2 win over Citizens Bank in Carter County American Little
League play at Jim Ensor Field.
The score was 3-2 at the end of the first inning,
then neither team scored until David's Auto tallied a run
in the sixth.
Logan Carden and Jordan Taylor contributed 1-for-2
efforts to the winning cause.
Adam Colbaugh, Franky Birchfield, Jacob Taylor
and Marcus Hill each went 1-for-3 to lead the Bankers.

Inland Paperboard 3
Inland Paperboard stayed in the game until the
fourth, where Cline-Holder exploded for 11 runs.
Jonathan Nichols batted 3-for-3 and pitched the
win in a strong performance for Cline-Holder, which got a
2-for-3 from Michael Bowers and a 2-for-4 from Zack Boles.
Greg Sams and Logan Andrews chipped in 1-for-2
showings for the winners.
Inland's Jordan Pearce, Britt Yelton and Taylor
Edwards each went 1-for-2.
