Unaka beats Rye Cove by scores of 8-3, 10-1

   RYE COVE, Va. -- Rye Cove may have wished Unaka wouldn't have set foot in Virginia on Saturday as the Rangers swept a doubleheader by the scores of 8-3 and 10-1.
   In the first game, Ryan Bowers went 2-for-4 with a home run. Tee Blevins and Randy Swearingen each matched Bowers with two hits in the Ranger win.
   Alex Daniel also added a hit, while pitchers Kemp and Daniel McInturff only allowed three hits for Rye Cove.
   Things were even more lopsided in the second contest, as Tee Blevins picked up the win with Rye Cove only getting two hits.
   Swearingen had another two-hit performance with the big difference this time around, one of those a round-tripper.
   Chad Lewis also garnered two hits and Rusty Chambers one, as Unaka improved to 13-10 on the season.
