Cline-Holder, Citizens garner AL victories

from staff reports

With Kendall Wash and Greg Sams both going 2-for-3, and Kyle Wash pitching his way to victory, Cline-Holder defeated David's Auto Sales 11-2 in a game at Jim Ensor Field on Thursday night.
Cline-Holder, which scored in each of the first four innings, also received a 1-for-2 effort from Logan Andrews.
David's Auto just couldn't get the big hit on this night, leaving 10 runners on base.
Justin Nave topped the team with a 2-for-3 showing. Austin Reed was 1-for-2 and Jake Hubbard 1-for-4.
   Citizens Bank 16
   Inland Paperboard 1

Adam Colbaugh went 2-for-2 with a home run and Jacob Taylor held Inland to just two hits in a triumphant Citizens Bank performance.
Taylor, helping his cause at the plate, and Marcus Hill also batted 2-for-2 for Citizens, which set the tone with a seven-run first inning.
Bryan Hamby, 1-for-1, and Jeremy Arwood, 1-for-1, led the way for Inland.
Rain made it tough on both pitchers -- Samuel Parlier threw for Inland -- in the nightcap.
