Lady Buffs pummel Montreat

from staff reports

Montreat, NC--The injury bug has hit Milligan for the third time this season but that did not stop the Lady Buffs scoring 29 runs and picking up 32 hits against Montreat College.
Milligan won the Friday doubleheader 12-2 and 17-7 to run its record to 19-11 and 16-4.
Already playing without starting first basemen Brooke Davis and outfielder/pitcher Ashley Fine, Milligan's three-time all-conference shortstop Andrea Henriott went down with a severe sprain ankle. X-rays showed no break but a timetable has not been set for her return.
