ETSU splits pair

   JOHNSON CITY -- East Tennessee State (16-15, 3-4 SoCon) split Saturday's softball doubleheader with Southern Conference rival Chattanooga (23-24, 2-6 SoCon), winning the first game 2-1 in 10 innings and getting shutout 2-0 in game two from Kiwanis-Metro Park.
   Junior Tiffany McVay was the hero in game one. On the mound, McVay didn't let up a hit until the fourth inning and gave up just five hits total in earning the complete-game victory.
