EHS girls pummel Raiders

   The Elizabethton Lady Cyclones were hitting on all cylinders Tuesday evening with a 10-0 victory over the Sullivan North Lady Raiders.
   Kristie Keys struck out twelve batters and went two for two offensively to help lead Elizabethon.
   Sarah Smith and Michelle Collins both went three of four on the evening. Smith had a triple and a double with two RBI's and two stolen bases, while Collins drove in four runs for the Lady Cyclones.
   In junior varsity action, the Lady Cyclones toppled North 8-0 in five innings behind the strong pitching arm of Jessica Robinson.
   Robinson was joined by strong offensive outings from Abby Jenkins (three for three), Katie Hubbard (two for two) and Maggie Austin (two for three).
   In another contest, the Lady Cyclones defeated Johnson County, 5-3 on Friday.
   Keys picked up the victory on the mound, replacing the starter Robinson. She added a two for three hitting day, while Hubbard and Jenkins tallied hits to lead Elizabethton.
   The Lady Cyclones were down 3-1 after four innings, before a strong fifth inning to take the solid victory.
