Lady Rangers keep on winning

   Unaka's Lady Rangers kept their winning ways intact this week with victories over North Greene and Sullivan North in key matchups.
   On Monday, they stayed pace in the race for the Watauga Valley Conference title with a 10-1 thumping of North Greene. Danielle Carr was masterful on the mound throwing eight strikeouts and giving up only two hits and two walks.
   Danielle Williams was 2-for-4 and Aleshia Buckles was 2-for-3 with four RBI's in the Lady Ranger onslaught.
   Wednesday, saw Unaka best Sullivan North by the score of 5-3 led by catcher Emily Elliott, who was 2-for-3 with a double. The Lady Rangers are setting at 4-1 in the conference and 9-13 overall.
   Next up is today's non-conference game at home against David Crockett.
