Twins no-hit Burgie Drug in NL play

Roy Edwards and Skylar Dugger combined on a nifty
no-hitter Tuesday night as the Elizabethton Twins knocked
off Burgie Drug 14-2 in action from the National Little League.
Edwards worked the first three innings before
Dugger closed the deal by pitching the fourth and final frame.
Dugger got a little help from his catcher, who gunned down
runners at second and third base.
Benjamin McKinney and Phillip White paced the
winners with 1-for-1 efforts, while Ricky Jones batted 1-for-2.

Garrett Dykes went 2-for-2 and Andy Crockett
emptied the bases in going 1-for-1 as Valley Forge Auction,
which broke up a close game with a seven-run fourth inning,
prevailed.
Christopher Dunbar emerged the winning pitcher,
allowing four hits. Dunbar was backed up by an error-free
defense.
Jake Peters, Josh Saroh, Michael Hutchins and
Casey Crapps went 1-for-2 apiece to top BET.
