Buffs take two at home

Milligan used some hot sticks to propel
itself to a 10-0 and 6-1 sweep of North Greenville, S.C. on
Tuesday afternoon at Anglin Field.
In game one, the Buffs exploded for 16 hits with
homers by Scott Shealy, Dustin Price and Ryan Dunn to power
Milligan to the five inning victory.
Chris Shockley had an exceptional day on the
hill giving up only two hits to North Greenville.
Price went a perfect three for three on the day
including his roundtripper.
Five players recorded at least two hits each.
Shealy, Chuck Arnold, David Hilton, Bam Christian and Aaron
Thomas all collected two hits.
In game two, right-hander Rob Maynard stymied
the North Greenville bats in leading the Buffs to the sweep
with a 6-1 victory.
Price finished the day with five hits, notching
two more hits in game two. First baseman Todd Speas drove
in two runs with a double to pace Milligan.
The Buffs collected eight hits off North Greenville
pitcher Bridges for the contest.
