6-Sigma beats Twins

   Matt Cannon went 2-for-2, Logan Loving 1-for-2 and Eric Norman 1-for-3 in leading 6-Sigma to a 9-7 win over the Twins in National Little League action on Saturday.
   Danny Simerly was on the mound for 6-Sigma. Lance Reed had two hits, while Ricky Jones, Craig Sheets and Phillip White had one hit apiece for the Twins. Zack Montgomery was the hurler for the Twins.

   Valley Forge Auction 8
   Nolan Childers was 2-for-3 with three RBI's, while Chris Pierce and Michael Guinn each added a hit powering Carter County Motors to the victory over the Auctioneers.
   Adrian Hopson provided the necessary horsepower on the mound for Carter County.
   Justin Peters was 2-for-2, while Blake Hopson and Brandon Woods, VFA's pitcher, both had two-hit games for Valley Forge. Hopson hit his second home run of the season.
   BET Welding 24
   Burgie Drug 4
   Casey Crapps and Jacob Davis each put up three hits for BET in the lopsided win over Burgie Drug. Joe Guinn threw no-hit ball for two innings to pick up the win for the Welders.
   Josh Sorah, Jake Peters and Bucky Harris had two-hit efforts for BET in the victory. Peters' first time on the mound was marked with three walks, one hit and striking out three.
   Burgie pitcher Jordan Meredith, Matthew February and Zack Miller each had hits in the loss.
   Carter County Bank 14
   Grindstaff Motors 9
   Justin Fuqua and Cody Buck got a hit each of their three times up to bat and Cain McWalters was 3-for-4 leading CCB to the win over the Grindstaff. Tyler Blevins made a double play in the fourth inning to stop a rally.
   Derrick Mann was the winning pitcher, with Grindstaff's Jerry Berkley charged with the loss. Drew Clark was 2-for-2 and Berkley was 1-for-2 for Grindstaff.
