   Tee Blevins, Chris Buckles, Michael Carpenter and Josh Lowe combined to do some big damage at the plate Thursday, blasting Unaka to a 12-2 victory over Indian Trail in the second game of a middle school doubleheader.
   Indian Trail took the opener, 14-4.
   Blevins went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs and three RBIs, while Buckles had two doubles, two RBIs and a pair of runs in a 2-for-3 showing of his own.
   Carpenter and Lowe also went 2-for-3 apiece, with Carpenter scoring twice and driving in a run. Lowe scored two times.
   Improving to 2-0 on the mound, Charles Peters totaled three walks and three runs for the Junior Rangers, who got 1-for-1 efforts from Jeff Peters (1 RBI) and Adam Buckles (1 RBI).
   Natt Scott was tops for Indian Trail, collecting his team's only hit in a 1-for-1 performance.
   Unaka (2-3) used a six-run third to blow the game wide open.
   The first game saw Paul Waters go 1-for-1 and Adam Buckles 1-for-2 in a losing Unaka cause.
   Trey Worley, 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs, showed the way for Indian Trail. Scott, Chaz Byrne and Dylan Pratt added a hi and an RBI apiece, with Scott and Pratt going for doubles.
   Paul Hoilman, who struck out four and allowed two hits over four innings of work, got the win.
   This game was fairly close until Indian Trail tallied eight runs in the fourth.
