Buffs lose to Bulldogs

   ATHENS -- The Milligan College men's tennis team dropped its match Saturday afternoon to Appalachian Athletic Conference rival Tennessee Wesleyan by a score of 9-0.
   The men played some tough matches but failed to pick up a victory against a strong Tennessee Wesleyan lineup.
   Milligan senior Adam Campbell said: "We did play a lot better than we have against other teams. Our scores reflected that today, we didn't have as many zeros. I think as a team we're improving; the last two matches we came out fighting."
   Campbell managed to take his match to three sets against Daniel Cardenas, but lost with a final score of 6-7 (7-4), 6-1, 6-3. Tom Jones and Ryan Reynolds lost No. 1 doubles 8-3 and lost their singles matches, respectively.
   The loss on Saturday drops the Buffs' record in the AAC conference record to 1-3. The Buffs will take on Montreat College Tuesday, March 30 at Milligan at 2 p.m.
