Lady Cyclones blank Raiders

   KINGSPORT--The Lady Cyclones took an early jump offensively and Kristie Keys pitched a two-hitter and hurled 11 strikeouts to lead the Elizabethton softball team to a 7-0 shutout of Sullivan North on Tuesday.
   Elizabethton's team had four runs after two innings, and kept the runners rolling home in the end of the game, scoring a run in each of the last three innings.
   Arissa Vaughn shouldered the loss for the Lady Raiders with four earned runs and six strikeouts.
   For the Lady Cyclones, Mary Edgar (1-3) scored three runs and one RBI, and stole two bases. Keys, Katie Hubbard, and Abbie Jenkins each batted 2-for-4. Jenkins hit a triple and scored a run, while Hubbard collected 2 RBIs.
   The Lady Cyclones, 2-1 overall, will face Science Hill today at 4:30 p.m. in Metro-Kiwanis Park (bottom field) in Johnson City.
