Buffaloes pummel Southern Wesleyan

from staff reports

CENTRAL, S.C. -- Seventeen hits and a squeaky clean effort in the field provided more than enough support on Thursday for Milligan's Stephen Jarrett, who pitched seven superb innings in an 11-1 Buffalo baseball victory over Southern Wesleyan.
Garnering the victory, Jarrett gave up just one run on five hits in seven innings of work.
Scoring at least one run in five of the first six innings, the Buffs (10-9) did all of their scoring before Wesleyan finally got on the board.
Jacob McAllister's 4-for-4, 2-run effort topped the Milligan offense, which got two doubles, a pair of runs and an RBI in three Ben Huff at-bats. Nathan Meade and Kory Kinnear each went 2-for-4 with two runs and a couple of RBIs.
The Buffs, who host UVA-Wise on Saturday and Sunday, had no errors against Wesleyan.
