Milligan outlasts North Georgia in 11 innings

   Scoring the game-winning run on a wild pitch, Dustin Price propelled Milligan College past an outstanding North Georgia team 7-6 in 11 innings of baseball on Wednesday afternoon.
   For North Georgia, the loss was only its fifth of the season against 21 wins. Milligan, which scored three runs in the top of the ninth to tie the game at 6, squared its record at 9-9
   Leading an 11-hit Buffalo attack was Ben Huff, who batted 3-for-4 with a double while collecting a pair of RBIs.
   Nathan Meade and David Rusaw added 2-for-4 and 2-for-6 efforts, respectively, with Meade scoring a run and stealing a base, and Rusaw picking up two RBIs.
   Chad Davis, who allowed three runs in four innings of work, got the win for the Buffs.
   North Georgia had a total of 13 hits in the game, but made three errors compared to Milligan's one.
   The Buffs will play at Southern Wesleyan today at 3 p.m., then host UVA-Wise for an AAC weekend series. Milligan and Wise start a doubleheader at 1 on Saturday, and play a Sunday 2 p.m. game.
