Lady Rangers top Cloudland

   Riding the big bats of Kristi Moffitt and Julie Roberson, Unaka pounded out an 18-4 Watauga Valley Conference victory over Cloudland on Tuesday in Roan Mountain.
   Moffitt went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs while Roberson had a home run, a triple and four RBIs in a 2-for-4 showing. Picking up the win on the mound was Ryann Musick.
   The Lady Rangers cut loose for eight runs in the second inning before extending their lead to 12-0 in the third. Cloudland got on the board with three runs in the third.
   Nicole Cantrell led the way for the Lady Highlander, batting 2-for-3 with a double. Duranda Byrd chipped in a double in two at-bats.
