   MURFREESBORO-- The University High boys basketball team made the most of its first game in the TSSAA State Tournament in 14 years.
   The Junior Bucs pulled out a 55-49 victory over the Cosby Eagles Thursday in opening-round Class A action at the Murphy Center.
   University High jumped out to a 6-0 lead to start the game, and held a 27-22 advantage at halftime.
   The Eagles rallied back in the third quarter to tie the contest at 37-37 with one quarter remaining.
   The Junior Bucs weren't going to be denied, as they stepped up in the fourth quarter with an 18-12 run to close the contest.
   Northeast Tennessee Player-of-the-Year Brandon Bradley finished with 21 points to lead University High. Danny Quick added 11 for the victors.
   Cosby's Mark McGaha led all scorers with 25 points.
   The Junior Bucs (31-4) will play in the state semifinals on Friday afternoon against Greenfield (26-6).
