Lady Cyclone bats down SC

   Elizabethton (2-1, 4-1) used 12 hits to knock their way past Sullivan Central 8-3 in girls softball action on Thursday.
   Sarah Smith led an offensive onslaught getting on base all four times she went to the plate. She walked twice, had two hits, three stolen bases and scored twice.
   Rachael Pierce was 2-for-4, scoring one run and driving in one run. Brandy Fairman walked twice, had a double and 2 RBIs.
   Fairman also starred on the mound going all seven innings giving up three earned runs on three hits, allowing only three base on balls and striking out 11 batters.
   The Cyclone offensive firepower continued to back her up. Stephanie Cline went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, while Michelle Collins had one hit and two RBIs. Abby Jenkins was 1-for-3 with a stolen base.
   Jamie Kyte, Brittany Hilton and Cody Taylor all came up with big hits in the EHS effort. The Lady Cyclones will take a week-long hiatus coinciding with spring break before returning to action the following Tuesday.
