Lady Buffs drop pair

   Emory & Henry opened its 2002 softball season by sweeping Milligan 8-7 and 8-2 on Tuesday afternoon at Anglin Field.
   In game one, the Lady Wasps jumped out to a 7-1 lead and the Lady Buffs couldn't catch them.
   Freshman Brooke Davis led the charge for Milligan, going 3-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Shelby Banion added a 2-for-4 performance that included two runs.
   The second contest saw Emory & Henry rack up eight unearned runs, with five coming in the fifth to break the game open.
   The only bright spot for Milligan was back-to-back home runs by Andrea Henriott and Brooke Davis to lead off the bottom of the sixth.
