King women fall to Brevard

   BRISTOL, Va. -- Former Unaka High standout Bobbie Blevins scored 16 points, but it wasn't enough to get King over the top as Brevard defeated the Lady Tornado 61-54 in quarterfinal action at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament.
   Blevins shot 4-of-6 from the field, and hit three treys.
   Blevins was also on the money from the foul line, as she hit five of her six attempts from the charity stripe.
   Former Cloudland star Ashley Stocton also had a nice game for King. She finished with nine points on the evening.
   King kept it close throughout against the top-seed. Brevard was up 29-25 at the half.
   Deia Mack topped Brevard with 16 points.
