King too much for Buffaloes

   Rebekah Wilson used a 17-point, 10-rebound effort to lead King College to a 57-50 win over Milligan Saturday afternoon at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.
   Former Unaka star Bobbie Blevins added 11 points to the Lady Tornado effort with Jennifer Testa pumping in 10. Joy Clark had 12 points to lead Milligan in the loss.
   All in all it was good night for ex-Carter County prep stars. Ashley Stocton from Cloudland scored six points for King in the victory, while a trio of former Hampton Bulldogs all scored for Milligan.
   Miranda Greene had nine points for the Lady Buffaloes, Ginny White scored five and Amanda Greene netted four points.
   King 52, Milligan 48
   Former Tennessee High standout John Sproles scored 18 points to lead the King Tornado past the Milligan College Buffaloes.
   Sproles went 6-of-11 from the field, and shot 4-of-6 from three-point range.
   King played some mean defense in this game, as the Tornado held the Buffaloes to 15 first half points.
   A. J. Hamler topped Milligan with 14 points, with Craig Emmert pouring in 13 for the Buffaloes.
   Former Elizabethton High standout Michael Morrell had eight for Milligan.
