TAD ladies thwart C-Hill

   CHURCH HILL -- Played almost evenly during the first quarter of play, the T.A. Dugger girls basketball team would dominate Church Hill the rest of the way for a 46-20 conference victory Tuesday evening.
   The Lady Junior Cyclones, who improved to 6-1 in the league and 11-3 overall, only led 7-6 at the end of the first session, but established leads of 24-12 at the half and 39-18 after three quarters.
   Hannah Fritz showed the way for TAD in the scoring department with 11 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
   The Lady Cyclones' Kelli Culler followed up with seven points, Leah Henson totaled six points and a half-dozen rebounds, and Kyla Jones also recorded six points. Janey Robinson, with four rebounds, was next best on the boards.
   Leeper was tops for Church Hill with eight points.
   In the junior varsity contest, TAD (7-4) smothered Church Hill with superb defense, en route to a 35-11 triumph.
   Only once, in the third quarter, did the Lady Panthers tally more than two points in a single stanza.
   A six-point effort by the Lady Cyclones' Brittney Michael proved to be a game-high total. Kelly Aubrey and Mariah Pietrowski chipped in five points apiece for the winners.
   Church Hill got five points from Smith.
