KINGSPORT--Cole Gouge pumped in 18 points on Monday
night for Cloudland, which erased an early deficit to wallop
Cedar View Christian 74-47 in a high school basketball contest.
Craig Cooke and Josh Johnson added 12 and 11 points,
respectively, for the 'Landers, who trailed 19-13 at the end
of the third quarter.
However, Cloudland smothered the Seahawks in the
second quarter, outscoring Cedar View 18-4 and never looking
back. The 'Landers led 55-34 after three quarters of play.
Robbie Tolley also reached double figures for Cloudland,
scoring 10.

Things went completely as expected for the Lady
Highlanders, who were never threatened.
Amy Storie led a very balanced Cloudland attack
with 11 points, followed by Stachia Johnson with a 10-point
effort.
Holding Cedar View to single digits in all four
quarters, the Lady 'Landers were up 32-17 at the break, and
48-23 at the close of the third period.
