Arrests

  * Gumercindo Silva Gonzalez, 29, 231 Highway 400, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Janice Black and charged with assault under domestic violence.
  * Brandon Clay Carrier, 23, 268 Dry Branch Rd., was arrested early Thursday morning by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
  * Gordon Carl Holmes, 27, 307 Keene Rd., Apt. 4, was arrested Wednesday night by CCSD Deputy Johnny Miller on a capias charging him with failure to appear in court.
  * Carol Renea Vines, 43, 1294 Bluefield Ave., Apt. K4, was arrested late Wednesday night by CCSD Lt. Bob Hooks on a warrant charging her with violation of probation and a capias charging her with failure to appear in court.
  * Thomas John Karnes, 35, 149 Millpond Rd., Apt. 14, was arrested late Wednesday night by CCSD Deputy Doug Combs on three capiases charging him with failure to appear in court and a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
  * Tony Alvin Berry, 45, 125 Emerald Hills Dr., was arrested Wednesday evening by CCSD Inv. Laverne Julian on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
  * Glenna Yvonne Newingham, 30, 2311 Floyd Dr., Murfeesboro, was arrested Wednesday morning by CCSD Deputy Noah Tidwell on a warrant charging him with four counts of criminal simulation.
  * Chet G. Crosswhite, 41, 1128 Blue Springs Rd., was arrested Wednesday afternoon by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy and Sgt. Penny Cornett on a capias charging him with failure to appear in court.
  * Leslie Tolley, 25, 1545 Southside Rd., was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Shannon Peters on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
  * Albert Forney, 60, 2472 Lakewood Dr., Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by officers of the EPD and charged with DUI and driving on a suspended license.
  * Michael McCool, 29, 916 Pine Ridge Circle, was arrested Wednesday evening by EPD Capt. Rusty Verran and charged with two counts of theft of property and one count of evading arrest.
