  Arrests
  * Jason Curtis Jones, 27, 118 J.D. Whitehead Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested late Thursday night by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Bradley Johnson and charged with violation of an order of protection. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 29.
  * Heather Dawn Raines, 28, 2618 Park Ave., Johnson City, was arrested Thursday night by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett and charged with second offense driving on a suspended license, violation of the vehicle registration law and violation of the financial responsibility law. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 27.
  * Ovia I. Shouse, 39, 127 Hopson Drive, Apt. 2, Johnson City, was arrested Thursday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Eric Buck on two warrants charging him with violation fo probation and a capias charging him with failure to appear in court.
  * Officers of the Johnson City Police Department on Friday arrested Patricio Esparza III, 30, 213 E. Unaka Avenue, No. 2, Johnson City, on charges of felony vandalism and simple domestic assault. The arrest stems from an investigation of a domestic disturbance at 213 E. Unaka Avenue, No. 1. Mr. Esparza is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center without bond. He is scheduled to appear in Johnson City General Sessions Court on Monday at 1:30 p.m.
