Arrests
* Daniel Gary Morris Jr., no age available, 3213
Gap Creek Rd., Hampton, was arrested Saturday morning by Carter
County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Keith Range on a charge of
contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court April 26.
* Benny F. Burton, 56, 1346 Milligan Highway,
Johnson City, was arrested Saturday night by Elizabethton
Police Department Ptl. Brook Mullins on charges of assault
and vandalism under domestic violence.
* Angela Faith Oliver, 29, 199 Bulldog Hollow
Rd., was arrested Saturday afternoon by Tennessee Constable
Lawrence Perry for a capias and a warrant charging her with
violation of probation issued from General Sessions Court.
* Randy McIntosh, 37, Campbell Trailer Park #10,
was arrested Sunday afternoon by CCSD Deputy David Ryan on
a charge of public intoxication.
* Frederico Lopez, 36, 205 Big Valley Dr. #3,
Johnson City, was arrested Sunday morning by CCSD deputies
on charges of driving under the influence and having no driver's
license.
* Mitchell Neal Buchanan, 49, 314 S. Main St.,
was arrested Sunday afternoon by EPD Ptl. Tonya Range on capiases
for driving under the influence, 2nd offense; driving on a
revoked license, and a warrant for violation of probation.
* Crystal Jean Presnell, 22, 221-B Roosevelt
Ave., was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Jeff
Markland on charges of driving under the influence, driving
on a suspended license, and child endangerment. She is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court April 26.
* Ovia Ivan Shouse, 39, 127 Hopson Rd., was arrested
Saturday night by CCSD Deputy David Ryan on a warrant charging
him with violation of probation.
* Teddy Allen Street, 33, 336 Industrial Dr.,
Mountain City, was arrested Saturday night by CCSD Deputy
Al Meehan on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Darrell Wayne Crawford, 41, 101 Swimming Pool
Rd., Hampton, was arrested Friday evening by CCSD Deputy Al
Meehan on a warrant issued from Criminal Court charging him
with failure to follow a court order.
* Christopher Earl Carver, 24, 107 Taylor Hollow
Rd., was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Rick Taylor
on a charge of violation of probation and a capias.
Theft
* CCSD Deputy Janice Black spoke to Duane Smalling
on Thursday evening regarding a theft of property. Smalling
advised that he had hired an individual to help him move from
a residence at 456 Dalewood Dr., to a residence in Johnson
City. Smalling reported he was missing a toolbox and tools
from his truck. The property was valued at $750.
* EPD Ptl. Tonya Range was dispatched to Doe
River Auto, 1800 U.S. Highway 19E on Saturday night in response
to the burglary of a vehicle. On arrival, Range spoke with
Kelly Crain who reported an SUV on the property had been broken
into and an "after market" radio/CD player had been stolen.
The radio/CD player was valued at $500.
* EPD Ptl. Tonya Range was dispatched to 1302
Lowe St. Saturday morning in response to a theft. On arrival,
Range spoke with Roy Lee Burrow of the residence. He advised
that several items of jewelry were missing from his home.
The property's value was estimated at $2,145. Burrow advised
he had no suspects and was not sure how long the items had
been missing.
