Arrests

   * Michael Keith Taylor, 35, no address available, was arrested Tuesday morning by Carter County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Tim Lowe on a warrant charging him with violation of the worthless check law.
   * Stevie Fillmore Wyatt, 41, 358 Garland Branch Rd., Watauga, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by CCSD Sgt. Tim Lowe on a warrant charging him with forgery and a capias charging him with failure to appear in court.
   * Tracey Lynn Holtsclaw, 34, 105 Journeys End Rd., was arrested early Wednesday morning by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range on several outstanding capiases charging her with failure to appear in court and one for failure to serve jail time.
   * James Henry Sims, 43, 113 Journeys End Rd., was arrested late Tuesday night by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range on two warrants charging him with violation of probation. He was additionally served with a warrant charging him with evading arrest by Elizabethton Police Department Sgt. Matt Bailey.
   * Brandy Nicole Gobble, 23, 315 Holston Ave., was arrested Tuesday night by EPD Ptl. Jason Shaw on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
