Arrests

   * Gary W. Barnett, 34, 208 W. Mill St., was arrested Wednesday morning by Carter County Sheriff's Department Sgt. L.C. Tester on an Attachment for Contempt out of Chancery Court. He was additionally served with a capias charging him with failure to appear in court out of Criminal Court.
   * Emmett Blaine Hamrick, 67, 111 Gordon Lewis Rd., was arrested Wednesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Janice Black and charged with public intoxication.
   * James Lynn Cox, 21, 809 Tipton St., was arrested late Tuesday night by CCSD Inv. Todd Hamm on two capiases charging him with failure to appear in court.
   * Lonnie E. Moffitt, 21, 126 Nora Grace Private Dr., Watauga, was arrested Tuesday evening by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Shannon Peters on a warrant charging him with criminal impersonation.
   * Tonya Sebastian, 27, 346 Sims Hill Rd., was arrested Wednesday afternoon by EPD Ptl. Shannon Peters and charged with public intoxication.
   * Billy Wayne Winchester, 52, 346 Sims Hill Rd., was arrested Wednesday afternoon by EPD Ptl. Mark Roberts and charged with public intoxication.
   * Laura J. Campbell, 23, 1615 Broad St., Apt. 2, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by EPD Ptl. Michael Merritt and charged with driving on a revoked license and speeding.
   * Joseph Curtis Andes, 19, 803 Riverside Dr., was arrested by EPD Ptl. Shannon Peters on a warrant charging him with burglary of a motor vehicle.
