Arrests

   * Steven Edward Young, 237 Elmer Walker Rd., Jonesborough, was arrested Friday night by officers of the Johnson City Police Department and charged with theft of property over $1,000. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on March 9.
   * Nathan Hicks, 29, 2621 Watauga Rd., Johnson City, was arrested Friday afternoon by officers of the Johnson City Police Department on charges of theft of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, evading arrest and public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on March 8.
   * Amanda Starr Buck, 22, 1320 E. Holston Ave., Johnson City, was arrested Saturday afternoon by officers of the Johnson City Police Department on a warrant charging her with especially aggravated assault. She is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on March 8.
