Arrests

   * Shawn Lee Stevens, 30, 823 Simerly Creek Rd., Hampton, was arrested Saturday night by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Eric Buck and charged with public intoxication.
   * Eric Chad Arnold, 23, 5856 Big Dry Run, Butler, was arrested Friday evening by CCSD Deputy Shannon Deloach and charged with second offense driving on a suspended license and speeding.
   * Jesse Lee Deloach, 21, 115 Betterly Place, was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Dean Jones on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * William Joseph McPheters, 32, 113 Burl Fletcher Rd., was arrested Friday morning by CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Jose Delgado Gonzalez, 28, no address available, was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Janice Black and charged with public intoxication.
   * Gumercindo Silva Gonzalez, 29, no address available, was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Janice Black and charged with public intoxication.
   * Isaias Salas Herrera, 39, 301 S. Sycamore St., was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Janice Black and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest. He was additionally served with four outstanding capiases charging him with failure to appear in court.
   * Jamie Lynn McLeod, 23, 120 Gay Fletcher Rd., was arrested Friday night by Tennessee Constable Bobby Canter on a capias charging her with failure to appear in court.
   * Katrina Dawn Davis, 19, 138 Edgewater Rd., was arrested Saturday morning by CCSD Deputy Charlotte Walker on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
   * Laura Jacquline Johnson, 42, 179 Mountainside Apartments, Apt. 114, Mountain City, was arrested Friday evening by CCSD Deputy Larry Robbins and charged with driving on a revoked license. She was additionally served with a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
   * Deborah Greenwell, 38, U.S. Highway 91, was arrested Sunday by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy on a capias charging her with failure to appear in court and a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
   * James Roscoe Russell, 34, 385 Whaleytown Rd., Hampton, was arrested Sunday morning by CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable on a capias charging him with failure to appear in court.
   * Kenneth Edward Mathes, 47, 507 Cottage Ave., was arrested late Friday night by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy and charged with DUI.
   * Joseph Paul Storie, 36, 146 U.S. Highway 91, was arrested late Friday night by CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan and charged with fourth offense driving on a revoked license.
   * Coy Wayne Millard, 21, 2090 Fairhope Rd., York, S.C., was arrested Friday night by CCSD Deputy Bradley Johnson and charged with DUI.
   * Earl Junior Johnson, 47, 1700 E. Elk Ave., was arrested early Saturday morning by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett and charged with aggravated DUI.
   * Loren Larani Pearce, 36, 122 Cunningham St., was arrested early Saturday morning by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett and charged with public intoxication.
   * Joshua Nathaniel Grant, 11915 Burnside Place, Knoxville, no age available, was arrested Friday morning by CCSD Deputy Dean Jones and charged with DUI.
   * Tommy Glenn Estep, 28, 147 Mill Pond Rd., was arrested Friday morning by CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable on a warrant charging him with violation of probation and an attachment for contempt.
   * Michael Eugene Jenkins, 27, 1219 U.S. Highway 321, Hampton, was arrested Thursday night by CCSD Deputy Bradley Johnson and charged with driving on a suspended license, violation of the light law, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
   * David E. Hollifield, 40, 113 Sam Rogers Rd., Erwin, was arrested Thursday evening by CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland and charged with third offense DUI and violation of the implied consent law.
   * Pat S. Richardson, 63, 411 E. Mill St., was arrested Friday afternoon by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Michael Merritt and charged with DUI.
   * David Shawn Wright, 35, 139 Mine Hollow Rd., Roan Mountain, was arrested late Saturday night by EPD Sgt. Jack Ramsey and charged with public intoxication.

Animal Cruelty

   * Denise McMillan, 125 Shell Hollow Rd., Watauga, reported to CCSD Deputy Eric Buck on Thursday evening that on Jan. 23 she noticed her two Golden Retriever-Labrador mix dogs were sick. A veterinarian advised her that the dogs' symptoms were consistent with being poisoned. The dogs died a week later, according to reports.
   * Tina Vines, 181 Mockingbird Lane, Butler, reported to CCSD Lt. Harvey Guess on Friday afternoon that someone shot her Rottweiler dog in the left paw, which split the animal's foot in half. The dog was transported to a veterinarian for medical treatment.
