Arrests
* Melissa R. Bowers, 37, One Boot Campbell Rd., was arrested Saturday night by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Sarah Ryan and charged with driving under the influence. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 20.
* Heather A. Manson, 27, One Boot Campbell Rd., was arrested Saturday night by CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan and charged with DUI. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 20.
* Adolphus Monroe Brown, 61, 209 Okolona Rd., Johnson City, was arrested late Saturday night by CCSD Deputy Kenny Cornett and charged with assault under domestic violence. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 27.
* Lloyd Mills Matthews, III, 19, 121 Jax Drive, Gray, was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* William Brian Rush, 23, 219 Circle View Drive, Gray, was arrested Saturday afternoon by Tennessee Constable Bobby Canter on a warrant charging him with theft over $1,000.
* Brian Scott Sheets, 28, 612 E. Pine St., Johnson City, was arrested Saturday morning by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Maria Hodge Dail, 43, 200 John Alfred Loop, was arrested Friday morning by CCSD Deputy Janice Black on a capias charging her with failure to appear in court.
* Michael Danner, 25, 148 Milligan Highway, Apt. 21, was arrested Friday morning by CCSD Deputy Janice Black on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Prudencio Marteniz Hernandez, 29, 125 Jones Rd., Apt. 4, Unicoi, was arrested Friday morning by CCSD Deputy Janice Black on two capiases charging her with failure to appear in court.
* John Franklin Yelton, 39, 605A Sugar Hollow Rd., was arrested Friday night by agents of the First Judicial District Drug Task Force and officers of the Elizabethton Police Department on an indictment out of Criminal Court charging him with the sale of Schedule II narcotics. He was additionally charged with the possession of Schedule III narcotics for resale, the possession of Schedule VI narcotics and the possession of drug paraphernalia.
* Randy Dean Pritchard, 32, 195 Dry Branch Rd., was arrested Sunday evening by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Patrick White and charged with theft of a motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 16.
* Cicil Paul Rollins, 52, 1410 E. Fairview Ave., Johnson City, was arrested Saturday night by EPD Capt. Rusty Verran and charged with DUI, second offense driving on a revoked license, violation of the implied consent law and violation of the financial responsibility law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 16.
* Ronald Edward Hummer, 40, 181 Swimming Pool Rd., was arrested Saturday night by EPD Ptl. Michael Merritt and charged with DUI. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 16.
* David Nathaniel Barker, 29, 385 Cave Hill Rd., Blountville, was arrested early Sunday morning by EPD Sgt. Roger Crowe and charged with fourth offense DUI and violation of the implied consent law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 16.
* Timothy Wayne Reece, 33, 114 Russell Lane, Hampton, was arrested early Saturday morning by EPD Capt. Rusty Verran and charged with public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 16.
* Danny Lee Whitson, 29, 189 Old Stoney Creek Rd., Apt. 2, was arrested early Saturday morning by EPD Capt. Rusty Verran and charged with public intoxication. He was also served with an outstanding warrant charging him with fourth offense driving on a revoked license, failure to give aid and information, evading arrest and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 16.
* Brenda Kay Maynor, 31, 2103 Indian Ridge Rd. #2, Johnson City, was arrested Monday by Johnson City Police Department officers and charged with forgery of a prescription and obtaining drugs by fraud. She is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $2,500 bond. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today at 1:30 p.m.
* Louis Blevins, 45, 900 McArthur St., Johnson City, was arrested Monday by Johnson City Police Department officers and charged with domestic aggravated assault after using his car to bump his wife's car at a red light. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center without bond and is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today.
* Robert D. Ferrell Jr., 20, 272 Bank Drive, Fall Branch, was arrested Monday by Washington County Sheriff's Department officers and charged with two counts of theft over $1,000 and one count of theft over $500. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
