Arrests

* John Paul Smith, 32, 110 Tipton St., Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday night by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Kevin Cable on two outstanding capiases charging him with failure to appear in court, a warrant charging him with violation of probation and an Attachment out of Chancery Court charging him with contempt.
* Charles Jarvis Carden, 24, 142 Ed Green Road, was arrested Wednesday morning by CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland and charged with driving on a suspended license and violation of the vehicle registration law. He was also served with two capiases charging him with failure to appear in court. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Jan. 22.
* Marcell Deon Bush, 28, 1844 Woodhaven Drive, was arrested early Thursday morning by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Joy Shoun and charged with assault under domestic violence. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Feb. 10.
