Arrests


* Connie Sue Arquette, 35, 1608 Persinger Drive, Watauga, was arrested Friday by CCSD Deputy Albert Nave on a charge of driving while intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 28.
* Willie Jo Whitson, 26, 640 Elm St., Erwin, was arrested Friday by CCSD Deputy Jim Whaley on charges of criminal trespassing and public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 28.
* Roy Dean Hill, 28, 1541 Broad Street Ext., was arrested Friday by CCSD Deputy Albert Nave on a charge of violation of probation. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 28.
* Michael Eugene Powell, 33, 152 Wilson Ave., was arrested Friday by the CCSD on a charge of assault under domestic violence. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 28.
* Patricia Harrison Blevins, 42, 2477 Highway 91, was arrested Saturday by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on a warrant charging her with child neglect. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Aug. 5.
* Cole B. Grayless, 25, 134 Reynolds Rd., Watauga, was arrested Saturday by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on a warrant charging him with auto burglary, theft, and vandalism. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 28.
* Crystal Gail Lingerfelt, 25, 413 Colorado St., Johnson City was arrested Friday by the CCSD on a warrant charging her with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
* Ricky Gene Pritchard, 38, 119 Betterly Place, was arrested Saturday by CCSD Deputy Jim Whaley on a charge of assault under domestic violence and public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 29.
* Penny Jean Oliver, 34, 798 Highway 91, was arrested Friday by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on a charge of violation of probation.
* John Kevin Ridneour Jr., 34, 130 Carlton Lane, Piney Flats, was arrested Friday by the CCSD on warrant issued from Criminal Court charging him with violation of probation. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Aug. 12.
* Angela Kay Grant, 31, 1294 Bluefield Ave. Bldg. B-1, was arrested Friday by CCSD Deputy Chad Grindstaff on a warrant issued from General Sessions Court charging her with violation of probation.
* Julian Burleson, 33, 245 Preacher Laws Rd., Athens, was arrested Friday on a charge of violation of probation by the CCSD. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 28.
* Officers with the Johnson City Bureau of Police arrested a woman following a reported fire at a Johnson City address. According to police, a call was made to the Washington County 911 Center from 1205 Buffalo St. Apt. 1 at 10:20 p.m. Friday. The caller allegedly reported the residence was on fire. Police and fire personnel were sent to the address to find the complaint was untrue, according to police. Police took Annette Edith Osborn, no age available, into custody on the charge of filing a false report. She is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court today.
* Jacob Stapleton, 21, no address available, was arrested Sunday by Washington County Sheriff's Office authorities and charged with aggravated burglary and assault at 263 Davy Crockett Rd., Limestone. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned today.


Theft


* Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Shannon Deloach responded Saturday to a reported theft. Regina Arnold advised Deloach a male subject known to her had come to her residence at 272 Chambers Drive and asked to use the telephone. She stated that the subject also used her bathroom and then left the residence in a hurry. Later that evening she realized $30 in cash had been removed from her bedroom dresser, and items were missing from her vehicle, which was parked at the residence.
* CCSD Deputy Eric Buck spoke with Joe West on Sunday regarding a vehicle theft. West advised his 1992 Suzuki Swift had been taken from his 192 Arlington Dr. residence during Saturday night. The vehicle was valued at over $1,000.

Assault

* CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett spoke with Lersa Hodge on Friday regarding an assault. Hodge advised she went to a residence on Second Ave. in Hampton to talk to her niece. Hodge stated a male subject known to her came out of the residence, cursed at her and struck her with his fist.

Accident

* A single-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday evening in Sullivan County sent two individuals to area hospitals. According to a police report from the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, Jeffrey Eastridge II, 22, 117 Bently Rd., Bristol, Tenn., was traveling west on Meadow Creek Rd., Bristol, when his vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree. Eastridge was air lifted to the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital where he is currently in critical condition. His only passenger, Cassie Hayes, 22, 769 Flatwoods Rd., Bluff City, was transported to the Bristol Regional Medical Center where she is reportedly in stable condition. Charges are pending in the case, according to authorities.
