Arrests

   * Scott Dale Shattuck, 40, Tiger Creek Road, Hampton, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Michael Carlock and charged with driving on a suspended license, reckless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 30.
   * Edna Rebecca Frazier, 31, 160 Guinn Lane, Erwin, was arrested Wednesday evening by CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of theft under $500.
   * Cynthia Ann Prater, 30, 14199 Wallace Pike, Bristol, Va., was arrested early Thursday morning by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson and charged with driving on a suspended license. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 30.
   * Christopher Lee Ashley, 27, 1 Mel Circle, Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday night by CCSD Deputy Jesse Booher on a warrant charging him with failure to pay court costs and fines.
   * Lester Lynn Dugger, 40, 502 Cedar Ave., was arrested late Thursday night by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson on a criminal indictment charging him with the sale of Schedule III narcotics.
   * Mark Anthony Shell, 49, 138 Midway Drive, was arrested late Thursday night by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson on a criminal indictment charging him with obtaining narcotics by fraud.
   * Tina Maxine Gobble, 35, 190 Walter Stevens Road, Hampton, was arrested Thursday morning by CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland and charged with first-offense driving on a revoked license, violation of the vehicle registration law and violation of the financial responsibility law. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 21.
   * Rita S. Payne, 47, 110 Five Oaks Drive, Johnson City, was arrested Thursday morning by CCSD Deputy Janice Black on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on a charge of worthless check.
   * Joseph Whitehead, 34, 2154 Highway 91, was arrested Thursday evening by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of theft under $500.
   * Tara Camille Ritchie, 27, 684 Simerly Creek Road, Hampton, was arrested Thursday night by CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan and charged with assault under domestic violence. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 15.
   * Amanda Jane Thomas, 151 Will Estep Road, no age available, was arrested Wednesday by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
   * Gary Olan Adkins, 20, 111 Berry Ridge Road, Jonesborough, was arrested early Friday morning by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson and charged with first offense DUI, drinking under age and possession of Schedule VI narcotics. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 30.
   * Benjamin Lee Brotherton, 19, 115 Buckeye Road, Unicoi, was arrested early Friday morning by CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable and charged with public intoxication, possession of Schedule III narcotics and possession of Schedule IV narcotics. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 30.
   * Johnny Richard Presnell, 53, 201 Roark Park Lane, Apt. 5, Hampton, was arrested Wednesday evening by Elizabethton Police Department Sgt. Charles Moreland and charged with sixth-offense driving on a revoked license, violation of the financial responsibility law and being a habitual motor vehicle offender. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 30.
   * Glenn Allen Hopkins, 23, 903 Pine Ridge Circle, Apt. F, was arrested Thursday morning by EPD Ptl. Jason Shaw on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of public intoxication.
   * Daniel Brian Jenkins, 20, 102 Canter Road, was arrested Friday evening by officers of Johnson City Police Bureau and charged with theft over $500. He was being held in Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
  
Theft

   * Doris Green reported to CCSD Sgt. Keith Range that sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, someone broke into a bus from which she sells fireworks while it was parked on the Elizabethton Highway near the Washington County line and had stolen approximately $5,000 worth of fireworks.
   * Clyde Ashworth, 705 Pine Hill Road, reported to CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland that sometime on June 19 or June 20, someone stole a Lowe's brand 12-horsepower lawn mower belonging to him while it was at a repair shop on Long Hollow Road.
   * Melissa Swiney, 1305 Spruce Lane, Apt. F, reported to EPD Ptl. Joy Shoun that sometime on Wednesday, someone entered her residence and stole more than $900 worth of jewelry including several items of gold and silver jewelry in the forms of necklaces, rings and earrings.
   * Kisha Keen, 2107 Forsyth Drive, Apt. 12, reported to EPD Ptl. Michael Sproviero that sometime Wednesday afternoon or evening, someone entered her vehicle, a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, and had stolen a set of speakers, an amplifier, approximately 20 CDs and a cell phone charger. The estimated value for all of the property stolen is nearly $700.
