Arrests

   * Steven Shane Bateman, 23, 152 Webb Hollow Road, was arrested Tuesday evening by Carter County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Patrick Johnson on warrants charging him with failure to report an accident, driving on a revoked license and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
   * Michael Travis Brandon, 18, 4260 Highway 19E, was arrested Tuesday night by Tennessee Constable Harvey Shaffer on a criminal indictment for aggravated burglary and theft over $500. He was also served with a warrant charging him with harassment.
   * Peter Shane Burke, 26, 930 B Pine Ridge Circle, was arrested Tuesday night by agents of the First Judicial Drug Task Force on a criminal indictment charging him with three counts of the sale of Schedule VI narcotics (marijuana). He was also charged with possession of Schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 1.
  
Theft

   * Ashley N. Rowe, 116 Happy Valley Road, Johnson City, reported to CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson that sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday and 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday, someone entered her residence and stole a 25 inch Magnavox television, a Samsung DVD player, approximately 10 DVD movies and a Sharp brand camcorder. An estimated value for the property that was stolen was not available.
   * Marvin Shane Watson, owner of a fireworks stand located at 4074 Highway 19E, reported to CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson that at approximately 3 a.m. on Wednesday, someone stole a case of Sunflowers fireworks and a case of M-90 firecrackers from his business. The estimated value of the fireworks that were stolen is $550.
