Arrests

   * Michael E. Roberts, 49, 118 Dogwood Village Road, Jonesborough, was arrested early Monday morning by Tennessee Constable Willie Mathes and charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 23.
   * Randy Keith Burrow, 46, 141 Lacy Hollow Road, was arrested Tuesday morning by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Tom Skeans on a warrant charging him with violation of probation. He is scheduled to appear in Criminal Court on August 5.
   * Chad D. Greene, 22, 822 Walnut St., was arrested early Wednesday morning by Elizabethton Police Department Capt. Arthur Smithdeal and charged with driving on a suspended license and violation of the financial responsibility law.
   * Steven L. Scott, 22, 1727 Field Road, was arrested Tuesday night by EPD Ptl. Brooke Mullins on an active arrested warrant from Washington County.
   * Casey Arthur Reed, 37, 111 Stillwater Circle, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by EPD Ptl. Tonya Range and charged with theft of merchandise and assault. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 23.
   * Terry Allen Potter, 39, Broad Street, was arrested Friday evening by EPD Capt. Jack Verran on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on charges of counts of violation of an order of protection, assault under domestic violence, criminal trespassing, two counts of violation of an order of protection, seventh offense DUI, third offense driving on a revoked license, theft and two counts of public intoxication.
   * Michelle Darlene Jordan, 33, 458 Allen Drive, Apt. 2, Kingsport, was arrested Tuesday morning by EPD Inv. Jason McCall and charged with driving on a suspended license and two counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.
   Michael T. Thompson, 19, 204 Poplar Street, Johnson City, was arrested Tuesday night by officers of the Johnson City Police Department and charged with seven counts of auto burglary. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court today.
   * Jerry Daniel Blevins, 40, 703 Blevins Ave., Elizabethton, was arrested early Wednesday morning by officers of the Johnson City Police Department on a warrant charging him with aggravated burglary. He was also charged with evading arrest, resisting stop, frisk and halt, simple assault and driving on a suspended license. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court today.
   * Phillip S. Presnell, Sr., 46, 212 W. Unaka Ave., Johnson City, was arrested Tuesday by officers of the Johnson City Police Department and charged with aggravated domestic assault. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court today.
  
Theft

  
* Lawana Slagle reported to CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan that sometime on Sunday, someone entered Slagle's United Methodist Church, 285 Old Watauga Road, and stole approximately $52 from two individual collection boxes as well as two speakers and an amplifier from the church's sanctuary.
   * Floyd Roberson reported to CCSD Sgt. Ken E. Dugger on Tuesday that sometime in the previous three days, someone had stolen approximately $600 worth of property belonging to him from a home construction site at 114 Mustang Valley Road. Listed among the property that was taken were two aluminum extension ladders, a one-man walkboard and another ladder.

Hit and Run

   * Carter County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who fled the scene of a two-vehicle accident in Hampton on Wednesday. According to CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan, the accident occurred when a Toyota Celica pulled out from First Avenue in Hampton into the path of a Toyota pickup truck traveling north on U.S. Highway 321. Ryan said witnesses told police the driver of the Celica fled the scene shortly after the accident. The female driver of the truck who declined to be identified suffered a minor chest injury. The driver of the Celica is described as a white male, 23 years old with brown hair and green eyes, according to police. Charges are pending in the incident, police said.
