Arrests

   * Steven Lewis Peters, 41, 104 Burrow Lane, was arrested Monday afternoon by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Fred Sluder on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Alen Dale Taylor, 45, 101 Pleasant Beach Drive, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by Tennessee Constable Bobby Canter and CCSD Deputy Jim Whaley on a warrant charging him with assault. He was also served with two orders of protection.
   * Andrew Leroy Smalls, 54, 502 E. Myrtle Avenue, Johnson City, was arrested Tuesday evening by CCSD Lt. Bob Hooks on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of assault.
   * Freddie Lee Julian, Jr., 26, Eastland Apartments, Apt. 2, Highway 19E, was arrested Tuesday evening by Elizabethton Police Department Sgt. Roger Crowe and charged with shoplifting and criminal trespass. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on July 22.
   * Matthew G. Ledford, 24, 109 Fitzsimmons Hill Road, was arrested late Tuesday night by EPD PTL Tonya Range and charged with reckless driving, driving on a suspended license, possession of Schedule VI narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 16.
  
Thefts

   * Jeremy Odette, 200 Cash Hollow Road, Johnson City, reported to CCSD Deputy Eric Buck that sometime in the early morning hours on Wednesday, someone stole his 1995 Buick Century from his residence. An estimated value for the stolen car was not available.
   * Richard L. Greenwell, 185 Old Charity Hill Road, reported to CCSD Deputy Johnny Miller that sometime on June 5, someone had stolen a set of four IPW 5 Star Wheels with center caps and 13 inch tires along with a set of three Epic aluminum wheels with black center caps and 14 inch tires from his residence. He reported that he suspects a male subject known to him.
   * Regina Wilson, 9397 Highway 19E, Roan Mountain, reported to CCSD Sgt. Ken Dugger that sometime on June 6, someone stole a 9mm Jennings handgun, cash and a prescription medication belonging to her from her residence.
   * David McLeod, 518 Johnson Ave., reported to EPD Sgt. John Ramsey that sometime between 10 p.m. on June 8 and 5 p.m. on June 9, someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked at White's Fresh Foods, 700 Stateline Road, and had stolen a Panasonic stereo, approximately $100 in cash, several CDs and some prescription medication. The total estimated value for the items stolen is more than $600.
