Arrests

   * Heather Leann Powers, 25, 1298 Bluefield Ave., Apt. F3, was arrested Friday morning by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Kenneth Cornett on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
   * Brandon Douglas Honeycutt, 18, 1151 Blue Springs Road, was arrested late Thursday night by CCSD Deputy Steve Christansen on an Attachment Pro Corpus out of Juvenile Court. He is scheduled to appear in Juvenile Court on June 12.
   * Eric James Hall, 22, 907 Ashley Road, Johnson City, was arrested Thursday evening by CCSD Deputy Chad Grindstaff on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 9.
   * Cynthia Canter, 24, 824 Rolling Hills Drive, Apt. 1, Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday by officers of the Johnson City Police Department and charged with possession of drugs for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
   * Heath E. Watson, 32, 226 Rauhoff Road, Telford, was arrested Thursday night by officers of the JCPD and charged with identity theft and the fraudulent use of a credit card. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on June 9.
   * Thomas Lawton Phillips, 183 Grand Ave., Apt. 2, Johnson City, was arrested Friday by officers of the Johnson City Police Bureau following investigation into several forged checks. Phillips is charged with 11 counts of forgery and 11 counts of theft under $500. He was being held in Washington County Detention Center under $10,000 bond.
  
Animal Cruelty

   * Joan Storie, 350 Dye Leaf Road, Butler, reported to CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley on Thursday afternoon that a male subject known to her had shot and killed a Chow/Labrador mix dog belonging to her while it was on her property.
