Arrests

   * Leslie Dawn Coleman, 30, 436 Willow Springs Road, was arrested Wednesday morning by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Janice Black on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
   * Jeffrey M. Surer, 19, 340 Lover's Lane, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Brad Hamm and charged with theft under $500. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 13.
   * Matthew Miller, 18, 810 Tipton St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Brad Hamm and charged with theft under $500, driving on a revoked license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Schedule VI narcotics. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 13.
   * Heather Marie Mullins, 23, 565 Hospital Road, Mountain City, was arrested Wednesday evening by CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on a charge of worthless checks.
   * Steven Martin Hale, 32, 2819 Emory Lane, Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday morning by Elizabethton Police Department Sgt. John Bailey and charged with driving on a suspended license and violation of the financial responsibility law. He was also issued a citation for speeding. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 23.
   * Jimmy Dean Moffitt, 22, 905 Pine Ridge Circle, Apt. B, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by EPD PTL Jason Shaw on a warrant charging him with forgery and theft of property. He was also served with a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 2.
   * Alice Beatrice Messer, 28, no address available, was arrested by EPD Sgt. John Bailey on a warrant charging her with theft over $500. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 2.
  
Theft

   * Travis Walker, 170 River Road, reported to CCSD Deputy M. Carlock on Tuesday that sometime that morning or during the previous night, someone had broken into his vehicle while it was parked at his residence and had stolen a pair of Rayban sunglasses, a radar detector and several CDs. The total estimated value of the stolen property is more than $450.
   * Larry G. Smith, 575 Sycamore Shoals Drive, reported to CCSD Deputy M. Carlock that sometime on Tuesday, someone broke into his residence and stole several firearms including a Ruger pistol, a pump action shot gun, a single action .22 caliber rifle, a .22 caliber automatic rifle and another shotgun. An estimated value for the stolen firearms was not reported.
   * Kim Eggers, 449 Race St., reported to EPD PTL Jerry Bradley that sometime between 11 p.m. on Tuesday and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, someone had stolen a bicycle and a motorcycle from the storage building located behind her residence. The estimated value for the property taken is $1,400.
