Arrests

* Three juveniles were arrested Monday evening by Johnson City Police Department officers and charged with felony escape while in state custody. They are currently being held in the Juvenile Detention Center in Johnson City, with a preliminary hearing set for Friday at 10 a.m.
   * Tommy Wayne Slaughter, 50, 115 Mulberry Lane, Johnson City, was arrested Sunday morning by Johnson City Police Department officers and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, habitual motor offender, and fifth offense DUI. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $12,250 bond and is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today.
   * Mark Alan Huffine, 18, 2362 Lakewood Drive, Johnson City, was arrested Sunday evening by Johnson City Police Department officers on a warrant for burglary and vandalism under $500. He was taken to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $3,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today.
   * Scott Allen Storie, 39, 137 Mayfield Drive, was arrested early Monday morning by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Eric Buck on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of vandalism.
   * Brett Elliott Price, 42, 2001 Sherwood Drive, Johnson City, was arrested Sunday morning by CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley and charged with aggravated assault under domestic violence and false imprisonment under domestic violence. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 3.
   * Michael Bruce Morton, 30, 1234 Dry Creek Road, Hampton, was arrested Friday evening by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on two warrants charging him with failure to appear in court and another warrant charging him with assault under domestic violence.
   * Joshua Allen Eggers, 22, 1503 Siam Road, was arrested late Monday night by Tennessee Constable Harvey Shaffer and charged with DUI, reckless endangerment, violation of the financial responsibility law and evading arrest. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 9.
   * Johnny William Glass, 35, 112 South Watauga Ave., Apt. 18, was arrested Monday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland and charged with violation of an order of protection.
   * Enoch Paul Taylor, 25, 138 Indian Creek Road, was arrested early Monday morning by CCSD Deputy Chad Grindstaff on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Minnie Carol Taylor, 27, 227 Lover's Lane, was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley and charged with harboring a fugative and filing a false report. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 3.
   * Ricky Gene Pritchard, 38, 119 Betterly Place, Apt. 1, was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson on a warrant charging him with failure to pay fines and costs.
   * Amy Beth Brown, 18, 152 Bertie Lane, Hampton, was arrested Saturday morning by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson and charged with assault under domestic violence. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 2.
   * Jonathan Clay Hawk, 30, 203 Mayfield Drive, was arrested Saturday morning by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Johnny William Thomas, 34, 227 Lover's Lane was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley and charged with burglary, theft over $1,000 and criminal impersonation. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 3 to face the criminal impersonation charge.
   * Sonny Wayne Whitehead, 48, 168 Little Stoney Creek Road, was arrested Saturday morning by CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley and charged with assault under domestic violence. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 3.
   * Timothy Allen Parlier, 36, ,511 1/2 Well St., was arrested late Sunday morning by CCSD Deputy Tom Skeans on a warrant charging him with theft.
   * Kymen Thomas Grindstaff, 45, 111 Bishop Hollow Road, was arrested Sunday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on charges of public intoxication and the introduction of contraband into a penal facility.
   * Crystal Dawn Potter, 27, 832 Highway 91, Apt. C-19, was arrested Sunday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable on a warrant charging her with violation of probation. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 3.
   * Terry Edward Morris, 44, 275 Rocky Branch Road, was arrested Saturday evening by CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable on a warrant charging him with filing a false report. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on that charge on June 3. After Morris was taken into custody, he was also served with a warrant charging him with driving on a revoked license, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, disregard for a stop sign and improper vehicle registration by Elizabethton Police Department PTL Joy Shoun. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on those charges on June 3.
   * Rosalee K. Fuller, 37, 1315 Lowe St., was arrested Friday night by EPD Sgt. John Ramsey and charged with DUI, violation of the financial responsibility law, possession of Schedule IV narcotics and possession of Schedule VI narcotics.
   * Reggie A. Putman, 29, 1140 Smith Branch Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested Monday night by EPD Capt. Clyde Croy and charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to yeild with contact.
   * Mark T. Guinn, 36, 1292 Bluefield Ave., Apt. B2116 was arrested early Saturday morning by EPD PTL Joy Shoun and charged with fourth offense DUI, driving on a revoked license and simple possession of Schedule VI narcotics. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on May 30.
   * Eddie D. Morton, 46, 525 Simmerly Creek, Hampton, ,was arrested late Saturday night by EPD PTL Jason Shaw and charged with first offense DUI and violation of the implied consent law.
   * Stacey S. Clawson, 28, 175 Jim Elliot Road, was arrested Saturday afternoon by EPD PTL Michael Merritt and charged with driving on a revoked license, speeding and violation of the financial responsibility law.
   * Joey Lynn Greenwell, 26, 108 Harold Estep Road, was arrested late Saturday night by EPD Sgt. John Ramsey and charged with DUI, violation of the implied consent law, violation of the vehicle registration law, violation of the financial responsibility law and driving on a revoked license.
   * Brandon Trevor Russell, ,21, 228 Piney Ave., Piney Flats, was arrested early Tuesday morning by EPD PTL Joy Shoun and charged with aggravated assault, possession of Schedule VI narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and an additional narcotics charge. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on June 2.
   * Aaron Rodgers, 30, 2911 Dorothy St., Johnson City was arrested Tuesday around Noon by officers of the Johnson City Police Department and charged with aggravated robbery. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on May 29.

Theft

   * Diane M. Scalf, 173 Hunter Ridge Lane, reported to CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley that sometime between May 21 and May 23, someone entered her residence and stole two items of jewelry and several prescription medications belonging to her. The total estimated value for the items that were stolen is more than $1,000.
   * Patricia Vaber, 227 Lover's Lane, reported to CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley on May Saturday that in the early morning hours of that day or during the previous night, someone had entered her residence and had stolen an Aiwa home entertainment stereo and a Compac computer with 19 inch monitor.
   * Travis Canter, 2405 Highway 91, reported to CCSD Lt. Harvey Guess that sometime in the last two months, someone had stolen a female Rotweiler dog belonging to him from his residence. He reported that he suspects a male subject known to him.
   * Nathan E. McNew, of Church Hill, reported to CCSD Deputy Janice Black on Monday that sometime since May 9, someone had stolen his car from the parking lot of Whitehead Construction on Highway 91.
   * Michael Ferguson, of Central, S.C., reported to CCSD Deputy Bradley N. Johnson that someone had stolen a 1997 Ford F150 pickup truck belonging to him on Friday from where he had parked it at 245 Walnut Mountain Road, Roan Mountain. The estimated value for the truck is $18,000.
   * Jacob L. Cook, 505 W. C St., reported to EPD PTL Mike Commons on Saturday morning that sometime in the early morning hours on that day, someone had entered his vehicle while it was parked at his residence and had stolen a Kenwood CD player valued at $250.
   * Larry Hunter, 424 Washington Ave., reported to EPD PTL Michael Sproviero on Saturday that sometime during the early morning hours of that day, someone entered his vehicle while it was parked at his residence and had stolen a leather Tennessee Titans jacket valued at $60.
   * Chad Lee Davis, 112 South Watauga Ave., Apt. 11, reported to EPD PTL Mike Commons that on Sunday afternoon, someone had entered his vehicle and stolen the face plate from his Kenwood CD player. He reported that the stereo itself had not been taken but the stereo could not operate without the faceplate.
   * Timothy Earl Pendlebury, 914 Pine Ridge Circle, Apt. A reported to EPD PTL Jason Shaw that sometime on Thursday, someone entered his residence and stole a Playstation 2 game system belonging to him along with a memory card, two controllers and two games. The estimated value for all the items that were stolen is $300.
   * David White, 1344 Broad St., reported to EPD Sgt. John Bailey that early on Monday morning, someone had broken into his vehicle while it was parked outside of his residence and had stolen approximately $900 worth of CDs.
   * Debra C. Lewis, 112 E. K St., reported to EPD PTL Jerry Bradley that on Monday morning, someone had broken into her son,s vehicle while it was parked at her residence and had stolen a Sony CD player valued at $400 and approximately $130 worth of CDs.
   * Daniel Greig Bates, 707 N. Pine St., reported to EPD PTL Jerry Bradley on Monday afternoon that either sometime that day or during the previous night, someone had broken into his vehicle and had stolen the CD player, which was valued at $200, along with a prescription medication belonging to him.
  
Animal Cruelty

   * Jerry Johnson, 231 Jenkins Hollow Road, reported to CCSD Deputy Eric Buck on Monday evening that when he returned home that day, he found his dog, a German Pincher and Rottweiler mix, laying on the ground and it appeared to be sick. He stated that the dog's stomach appeared to be swollen. According to reports, the animal had died by the time the officer arrived. Johnson stated that he believes his dog had been poisoned because it had been fine earlier that same day.
