Arrest

   * Richard Dale Hughes, 39, 103 Pritchard St., Roan Mountain, was arrested Monday by Carter County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Wendell Treadway on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide.
   * Michael Gurney Mayse, 26, 100 Milligan Lane, Apt. 19, was arrested Tuesday by Tennessee Constable Bobby Canter on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Christopher Ron Lash, 22, 163 Rosewood Circle, was arrested Tuesday by Tennessee Constable Bobby Canter on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Randall Allen Bennett, 46, 104 Unaka View Drive, Johnson City, was arrested early Tuesday morning by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range and charged with assault under domestic violence and vandalism under domestic violence. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on May 27.
   * Jonathon Brian Beam, 29, 1165 Brooks Shell Road, Elk Park, N.C., was arrested Monday evening by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range and charged with assault under domestic violence and simple assault. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on May 27.
   * Willie Moffitt, 45, no address available, was arrested Monday night by CCSD Capt. David Cornett on a warrant charging him with violation of probation and failure to appear in court.
   * Lorrie A. Hoyle, 38, 168 Smith Lane, Erwin, was arrested Saturday by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of worthless checks.
   * Bertie Nellie Hodge, 49, 401 Rittertown Road, Hampton, was arrested Monday morning by CCSD Deputy Chad Grindstaff on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Kent Herbert Croom, 22, of 3727 Private Sean Lane, La Grange, N.C. was arrested Tuesday by Johnson City Police Department Inv. Scott Jenkins and charged with theft of property over $10,000 and theft of property under $500. The arrest stems from an investigation into the theft of a vehicle on April 23 from Colony Park Drive, Johnson City. Mr. Croom is being held in the Washington County Detention Center under an $11,000 bond with an arraignment scheduled for Washington County General Sessions Court today.
  
Theft

   * Timothy Ray Eller, 102 S. Walnut St., reported to Elizabethton Police Department PTL Joy Shoun on Monday that sometime between May 8 and that day, someone had stolen a Craftsman brand push style lawn mower that belonged to his father, Sam Eller, from his residence. The lawn mower is valued at $150.
   * Julie Ann Carver, 2226 W. G St., Apt. 13, reported to EPD Capt. Clyde Croy that sometime between 6 p.m. on Sunday and 3 p.m. on Monday, someone entered her apartment and stole a Pioneer stereo system valued at $150.

Robbery

* On Monday, Johnson City Police Department officers responded to a robbery that occurred at Blockbuster, 2111 N. Roan St. Officers stated that employees told them that a black male carrying approximately 15 DVD's left the store without paying. When an employee tried to stop the man, he told the employee to "leave him alone" because he had a gun. The man fled on foot toward CVS Pharmacy and remains at large. He is described as being in his early twenties and wearing a baggy blue Fubu shirt with the number 5 on the back and dark pants. He is approximately five feet, ten inches tall, weighs about 130-140 pounds and has dark skin.
