Arrests

   * Nathan Paul Oliver, 23, 172 Grindstaff Hollow, was arrested Tuesday morning by Carter County Sheriff's Department Capt. Harrald on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Joehanathan William Castle, 21, 250 Jenkins Hollow Road, was arrested Tuesday morning by CCSD Deputy Gregg Nave on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court.
   * Benjamin Dale Pearson, 26, 303 Third Ave., Hampton, was arrested Tuesday morning by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range and charged with driving on a revoked license, violation of the vehicle registration law and violation of the financial responsibility law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on May 26.
   * Anthony Lee Grindstaff, 23, 214 Rockhouse Road, was arrested Tuesday by Tennessee Constable Bobby Canter on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Timothy Dale Garland, 29, 254 Watauga Road, was arrested Tuesday night by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson and charged with filing a false report. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on May 5.
   * Tony Lee Garland, 31, no address available, was arrested Tuesday night by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson on three outstanding warrants charging him with failure to appear in court on driving on a revoked license, evading arrest and violation of registration; failure to appear in court on a charge of not having his driver's license on his person; and a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of vandalism under $500. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on May 5.
   * Timothy Christopher Bowling, 18, 123 Blevins Hollow Road, was arrested early Wednesday morning by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and fleeing to avoid apprehension. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on May 5.
   * Leslie Ann Tolley, 23, 1298 Bluefield Ave., Apt. CD 105, was arrested early Tuesday morning by Elizabethton Police Department Sgt. John Ramsey and charged with first offense DUI.
  
Theft

   * Wesley Chad Heath, 8260 Highway 19E, Roan Mountain, reported to CCSD Deputy Bradley Johnson that a person known to him had stolen a PlayStation II game system with memory cards and controllers and a Nintendo game system from his residence. The estimated value of the stolen property is $550.
   * Roger Sheets, 150 Sheets Road, Hampton, reported to CCSD Deputy Brad Hamm that on April 26 someone had stolen a 12 volt battery charger from his residence. He also reported that on April 27, someone had stolen the battery from his boat along with a a tag belonging to his Kawasaki motorcycle.
   * Troy Blevins, an employee of the Elizabethton Water Department, reported to EPD PTL Jerry Bradley that sometime between Noon and 8:30 p.m. on April 26, someone had stolen a lap top computer valued at $1,600 from an office in the city garage building.
