Arrests
* Debra Michell Deel, 31, 110 East Fourth
St., Richlands, Va., was arrested Monday afternoon by Carter
County Sheriff's Department Deputy Gene Moreland on an attachment
pro corpus out of juvenile court.
* Randy Dale Odom, 34, 501 Florence St., was
arrested Monday afternoon by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range and charged
with being an unlicensed driver, violation of the vehicle
registration law and violation of the financial responsibility
law.
* Raggan Jason Sexton, 30, 401 Peachtree Lane,
was arrested Monday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland
and charged with assault under domestic violence. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court on May 27.
* Charles Fitzgerald Moiser, 39, 147 Yasmine
Lane, Boone, N.C., was arrested Monday night by CCSD Deputy
Steve Christiansen on a warrant charging him with theft over
$1,000.
* Kevin Daniel Claton, 20, 50 Charleston Square,
Swadley Road, Johnson City, was arrested Monday night by CCSD
Deputy Steve Christiansen on a warrant charging him with criminal
impersonation, evading arrest and violation of probation.
* Ashley L. Buchanan, 18, 3026 Gap Creek
Road, was arrested early Tuesday morning by CCSD Sgt. Penny
Cornett and charged with driving on an expired license, violation
of the seat belt law and joyriding. She is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court on May 13.
* Jason Lee Avery, 28, 1832 Todd Drive,
Johnson City, was arrested Monday afternoon by Elizabethton
Police Department PTL Jason Shaw on a warrant charging him
with aggravated assault, aggravated criminal trespassing and
violation of an order of protection.
* John F. Bowman, 22, 123 Carter Drive, Johnson
City, was arrested Monday by officers of the Johnson City
Police Department and charged with prescription forgery. He
is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions
Court on May 29.
Theft
* Christa Richardson, 111 Christa Drive,
Johnson City, reported to CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on Monday
that sometime during the previous night, someone had stolen
the hood off of her vehicle while it was parked at her residence.
The hood was valued at approximately $240.
* Robert Beam, manager of B & G Auto Repair,
271 U.S. Highway 91, reported to CCSD Sgt. Keith Range on
Monday that someone had stolen a car dolly valued at more
than $500 from the business.
* Susan J. Lowe, 205 Perry St., reported
to EPD PTL Shannon Peters that sometime from 4 p.m. and 10
p.m. on Monday, someone broke into her residence and stole
a small safe from her bedroom. She reported that the safe
contained the title to her vehicle and some prescription medications
belonging to her.
