Arrests

   * Michael L. Whitehead, 25, 111 Arnold St., was arrested Thursday morning by Elizabethton Police Department PTL Tonya Range on an outstanding warrant charging him with nine counts of obtaining narcotics by fraud. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on May 28.
   * Jason Avery, 28, 1832 Todd Drive, Johnson City, was arrested late Thursday night by EPD PTL Jason Shaw and charged with criminal trespassing and criminal impersonation. He was also served with a warrant charging him with violation of an order of protection. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on April 28.
   * Charles Fitzgerald Moiser, 39, 147 Yasmine Lane, Boone, N.C., was arrested Thursday night by Carter County Sheriff's Department Investigator Laverne Julian and charged with theft over $1,000.
   * Kevin Danile Clayton, 20, 50 Charleston Square, Johnson City, was arrested Thursday evening by officers of the Johnson City Police Department and charged with theft over $500, evading arrest and resisting arrest.
   * Brenda Hyler, 25, 606 Lamont St., No. 1, was arrested Wednesday night by JCPD officers and charged with aggravated assault.
   * Shawna M. Davis, 26, 124 Huffman Lane, Telford, was arrested Saturday by Johnson City Police officers after they responded to a fight call at Bailey's, 2102 N. Roan St. According to the report, Davis reportedly sturck a male on the back of the head with a glass ashtray. The victim sustained a laceration and was treated at the Johnson City Medical Center. Davis was charged with aggravated assault and drunkenness.
   * Richard "Alex" McClenan, 22, 155 Cliff Drive, Gray, was arrested Saturday afternoon by Washington County deputies when they stopped a black Ford LTD driven by McClenan after observing that it matched the description of a vehicle involved in two recent burglary incidents. One, an attempted burglary at Video Magic in Gray, occurred April 19, and a burglary Friday morning at Mr. Cash, in Gray. McClenan was charged with burglary, attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools.
  
Theft

   * Kennith Jones reported to CCSD Deputy Rick Taylor that someone had broken into the residence of his uncle, Bill Jones, at 316 Bluegrass Road, Roan Mountain, and had stolen a Monitor heater valued at more than $1,000.

Shooting

   * Teddy Peregoy Jr., 26, 784 Lakeridge Drive, Gray, was arrested Sunday by officers of Sullivan County Sheriff's Department and charged with attempted second-degree murder after officers responded to a reported shooting at 776 Lakeridge Drive. Upon arrival officers found that an altercation had taken place between Peregoy and his uncle, Tim Peregoy. Teddy Peregoy shot two rounds at Tim Peregoy, striking him one time in the upper torso, according to officers. Tim Peregoy was transported to Holston Valley Hospital where he underwent surgery for a gunshot wound.
