Arrests
* Tony Dale Arnold, 76, 122 Edge Water
Road, was arrested Tuesday evening by Carter County Sheriff's
Department Sgt. T. Lowe on a warrant charging him with violation
of probation.
* Anna Marie Suttles, 42, 120 Centerview Drive,
was arrested Tuesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Janice Black
on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court.
* James Junior Price, 42, 410 10th St., was arrested
Tuesday night by Tennessee Constable Bobby Canter on a warrant
charging her with failure to appear in court on a charge of
public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in court April
22.
* Jesse Lee Sparks, 21, 1515 Highway 91, was
arrested late Tuesday night by Tennessee Constable Bobby Canter
on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court
on charges of DUI, driving on a suspended license, aggravated
child neglect and child endangerment. He was also served a
warrant charging him with assault under domestic violence
and a warrant out of South Carolina charging him with violation
of probation. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions
Court on the assault under domestic violence charge April
22.
* Christy Cannon, 28, no address available, was
arrested early Wednesday morning by CCSD Deputy Eric Buck
on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
* Ambrocio Velasquez, 37, of Johnson City, was
arrested Tuesday evening by officers of the Johnson City Police
Department and charged with aggravated burglary and contempt
of court. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General
Sessions Court this afternoon.
* Johnny Clark, 31, of Johnson City, was arrested
early Tuesday morning by JCPD officers and charged with aggravated
assault.
Theft
* Bill Shell, owner of D & S Automotive,
215 Lover's Lane, reported to CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett that
sometime between April 5 and April 15, someone broke into
his business and stole several tools. According to reports,
the rear door of the business had been busted open and a hole
cut into the fence at the rear of the storage lot.
* Kevin Loos, 230 Patton Ridge Road, Jonesborough,
reported to CCSD Deputy Shannon Deloach Tuesday afternoon
that someone had broken into a camper he owns located on Marina
View Drive in Butler. He reported that the last time he had
been to the camper was on March 19 and it had not been entered
at that time. He further stated that two televisions and two
VCRs had been stolen from the camper along with approximately
200 VHS tapes.
* Terri Needham, 176 King St., reported
to CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy that someone had broken into her residence
and had stolen a couch and loveseat which she was renting
from an area business. According to the report, both doors
had been removed from the residence.
* Jeremy Blevins, 214 Rome Hollow Road, reported
to CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett that sometime in the last week,
someone had pulled into his yard and stolen a welder valued
between $2,000-3,000.
* James Larry Parsons, 1619 Milligan Highway,
Apt. 10, reported to Elizabethton Police Department PTL Jennifer
Mayberry that someone had broken into his residence and stolen
a 1962 Fender Straticaster guitar and a Paul Reed Smith guitar.
The guitars are valued at $7,000. According to the report,
the front door of the apartment had been kicked in.
* Kenneth D. Estep, an employee of AAA Title
Loans, reported to EPD PTL Jennifer Mayberry that a female
subject had test driven a 1991 Chevrolet Blazer on Monday
and as of Tuesday morning had not returned the vehicle.
* Patricia D. Kinley, 123 Reeser Road, Apt. 68,
reported to EPD PTL Mike McIntosh on Sunday afternoon that
sometime the previous night, someone had entered her 1990
Mazda 626 and had stolen the faceplate to her Pioneer AM/FM
CD player and had taken approximately 15 CDs. The estimated
value of the property stolen is $300.
