Arrests

  
* Joshua Dain Lowe, 18, 108 S. Ninth St., Watauga, was arrested Thursday morning by Carter County Sheriff's Department Lt. Bob Hooks on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Wendy Denise Lowe, 37, Carriage House Apartments, C-2, Sneed Hill, was arrested Thursday morning by CCSD Lt. Bob Hooks on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
   * Tammy Smithey Birchfield, 33, 122 Highlander Lane, Roan Mountain, was arrested Wednesday night by CCSD Deputy Tom Skeans on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court.
   * James Douglas Jones, 33, 197 Carl Smith Road, Hampton, was arrested Thursday night by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court.
   * Dylan Matthew Roupas, 26, 2909 Chathen Drive, Johnson City, was arrested Thursday night by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court.
   * Jennifer Lynn Ferraro, 20, 977 Lynn Garden Drive, Kingsport, was arrested Thursday night by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
   * Patrice Darlene Moore, 38, 150 Southgate Drive, was arrested Thursday night by CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court.
   * Jeffery Pritchard, 36, 303 Keenburg Road, was arrested by Elizabethton Police Department officers assisted by bounty agents from Alabama on outstanding warrants from Carter County and several felony charges from Alabama.
   * Robert E. Burton, 21, 1412 Colony Park Drive, Lot 12, Johnson City, was arrested Thursday by officers from the Johnson City Police Department and charged with felony vandalism under domestic violence and public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on Monday.
   * Todd Briggs, 19, 1009 Johnson Ave., Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday by officers from the JCPD and charged with aggravated burglary.

Theft

  
* Daniel Taylor Sr., 109 Joe Hardin Road, reported to CCSD Lt. Harvey Guess that sometime on Thursday, someone stole some prescription medication belonging to him from his residence.
   * Natalie Younce, 141 Taylor Ave., reported to CCSD Sgt. T. Lowe that sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Thursday, someone stole an American flag from her property. She reported that this is the second time someone has stolen an American flag from her property.
   * John Wayne Elliott, 166 Ham Hollow Road, reported to EPD Capt. William Fraley that while his vehicle was parked at Wal-Mart, located on West Elk Ave., someone entered the vehicle and stole some of his personal property including a cellular telephone, two packs of cigarettes and some groceries.
   * Tina Harriet Rutter, 823 Cambridge Ave., reported to EPD PTL Jerry Bradley that someone had stolen a satellite dish belonging to her from the front of her residence. She advised the officer that she had been away from the residence for a few days and did not know when the incident occurred.

Animal Cruelty

  
* Marsha Gail Sutton, 614 Bravo St., reported to EPD Sgt. Roger Crowe that someone attempted to poison her two Labrador dogs by placing four hamburger meatballs into the dog lot. According to the report, it appeared as if someone were trying to deliberately poison the animals. The meatballs will be frozen as evidence until such time as the meat can be analyzed to see what is in the meat. Sutton reported that in November, someone attempted to poison one of her dogs, but it survived.
